Spain and Italy – 2014
Students had the privilege of touring the Prada Museum in Madrid and had Flamenco dancing lessons in Madrid, Spain. Everyone had fun touring Barcelona including the famous Camp Nou — Barcelona’s premier Soccer (Football) Stadium.
Then on to Italy. First stop, Venice. Gondola boat rides, shopping and touring the canal city. Then off to the beautiful Papal city, Vatican and then the the ancient ruins of Rome including the Roman Colosseum. Students had a rare opportunity to visit the ruins of Pompeii while in Italy as part of the 2014 study abroad at Northeast.
